BONFIRE: A Day of Remembrance
"Bonfire" is a reflective video capturing stories from the Day of Remembrance at Delta Park, Portland, OR, where history and memory intersect. On the Indigenous land where Vanport once stood, attendees honor the nearly 4,000 Japanese Americans unjustly incarcerated. Through memory activism, tours, pop-up exhibits, and screenings, this event illuminates the resilience of those impacted while fostering dialogue about justice, history, and healing.
STRONGER SKATEPARK
Explore the life and vision of AJ, founder of Stronger Skatepark, in this short documentary. From their passion for skateboarding to creating a haven for the sport in Portland, AJ's story is one of dedication and community building. This documentary was shot during a unique Summer Camp they hosted in 2022, where kids experienced skateboarding in a supportive and inclusive environment.
